Meet the Team

Oliver Kearin Director One of the co-founders of The Freestanding Kitchen Company, Oliver has been in the kitchen and bespoke cabinet industry for the past 25 years. More recently Oliver has developed The Freestanding Kitchen Company into to a true market innovator producing freestanding kitchen cabinets.  Outside of work he enjoys walking the team mascot Brush and sailing his yacht aptly named Life.  An occasional skiing trip is always welcome when he can fit it in!	Leanne Hodgemead Design Consultant Having recently joined the team, Leanne has brought a fresh lease of life and new ideas from her studies as an Interior design student at the National Design Academy.  Her skills in Sketch-up and eye for design are a true asset to The Freestanding Kitchen Company.  Leanne loves geeking out over the magical world of Harry Potter but her greatest love is her two dogs Albie & Teal’C.	Jane Turley Accounts Although part-time Jane certainly leaves her mark by insuring that all the company accounts are up to date.  She’s always happy to take your money or calculate your invoice!  Outside of work Jane loves cycling around the picturesque north Essex countryside.
Aaron Hunt Production & Trade sales Aaron has been part of the team for the past 4 years and currently looks after the delivery, production and all trade sales.  His knowledge of the cabinets is unsurpassed by none and always happy to get into the details of your order to ensure it fits perfectly. When not checking order details or planning a delivery route you could find him under his 38 year old Series 3 Land Rover or walking Buster his faithful canine.	Delivery and Production team Dispatch & Alterations The Freestanding Kitchen Company has an additional 4 members of the team that carry out any of the alterations and delivery services.  All extremely competent cabinet makers they have the abilities to create your dream kitchen.	Brush Team Mascot Brush doesn’t really do much; you would usually find him asleep under the desk or maybe sunning himself in the yard.  Although he doesn’t have any specific duties he is a welcome member of the team and always there to share your lunch.
Nicola Calver Trade sales The newest member of our team Nicola has joined our throng to principally service the growing trade and developer arm of the business!  Having an account management background for a large kitchen appliance company she’s proving to be a real talent!  Her design skills are showing to be winner’s when creating that wow kitchen for a show home, whilst keeping an eye on the return of investment!  Nicola is a keen runner, competing in marathons and a devoted mum of two, which doesn’t leave much time for anything else!
